Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AusPlanning AI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AusPlanning AI is a free AI-powered search tool that allows users to query Australian planning and building regulation documents including, but not limited to, the National Construction Code (NCC), Apartment Design Guide (ADG), Local Environmental Plans (LEP), and Development Control Plans (DCP). New documents are added regularly.

3. Not Professional or Legal Advice

All responses generated by AusPlanning AI are produced by artificial intelligence and are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, planning, architectural, engineering, or any other form of professional advice.

AI-generated responses may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You must always verify any information against the original official regulatory documents before making any decision or taking any action. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

4. No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AusPlanning AI and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any information obtained through it. This includes any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on AI-generated responses.

  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service
